フィリピンの Bulacan State University の Alicia Chavarria Esguerra さんが来館されました

７月20日（金）にフィリピンの Bulacan State University の Alicia Chavarria Esguerra さんが視察のため来館されました。

現在、京都大学東南アジア地域研究研究所図書室に外国人研究員として滞在されており、研修の一環で来館されたものです。

さっそくお礼状をいただきましたので、以下に掲載します。
 

Dear Fukushima sensei,

Thank you very much for accommodating my request for a visit to Kyoto Prefectural Library. It was an amazing experience seeing a very dynamic public library serving the information needs of the community. I am most impressed with the Inter-Library Lending service, it is a good way to share the resources with other members of the community.

Your discussion about the library practice and training for librarians is very enlightening. I am beginning to understand more about library practice in Japan through your explanation. I am grateful for your patience in explaining and answering my questions.

I hope that we can have an opportunity for professional collaborative work in the future. Again, thank you very much, arigatou gozaimasu!
